2014-2015 was a triple honor for Coach Bass. As a coach of the Lambert Longhorns 6A high school baseball team, he enjoyed another State Championship with a 36-2 record and a final ranking of #1 in the Nation by USA Today. In addition, Coach Bass was inducted into the Georgetown University Athletic Hall of Fame and the Dunwoody High School Sports Hall of Fame. Coach was recognized for his 18 year career as a head coach whereby he achieved 359 career wins, six Region Coach of the Year awards, and the 2007 Georgia Coach of the Year when his Dunwoody Wildcats won the state championship and achieved a #18 national ranking. Also, Coach Bass was the first pitcher since the 1930s from Georgetown to celebrate entrance into “the Hall”! This is a result of six pitching records he still holds for Hoya baseball.
Coach Danny Rueckel has played and coached baseball since his high school years at Dunwoody High, where he was named DeKalb County Player of the Year. He was an all-county pick, a 2-time all-state pick, and a member of the Braves 400 club. Coach Rueckel attended Furman University where he played for the Paladins as shortstop and pitcher. After college, Danny was a twelfth round pick for the Montreal Expos (who became the Washington Nationals), where he stayed for over six years. During his time with the nationals he was rated best curveball 4 years in a row, and earned a spot on the 2004 AA Eastern League All-Star Team. Since then, Coach Rueckel has been giving hitting and pitching lessons for 15 years and is coaching the 13u Gold team.

Coach Ksionzyk played for two seasons at Pitt Community College (Winterville, NC), leading the 2006 team in hitting (.430 average) and earning second-team all-conference honors.
