The annual dues to be a part of the DSB Diablos is $3,100. Your payments will not be in a lump sum arrangement. Rather, the total amount will be paid in amounts spread out in eight payments throughout the year-long season. A payment schedule will be provided in the fall so you can budget the payments over the year.
Your dues pay for tournament entry fees (minimum of ten), umpires for doubleheaders, uniforms, equipment, coaching supplements, field time at Dunwoody Park, and a variety of other expenses. Your payment includes the cost of marketing, internet coverage, signage and over-all marketing of the brand over the course of the year. As the Diablos franchise continues to grow and succeed, we are increasing the level of community awareness of the program. Additionally, this money will go towards any overages the program may incur (additional uniform items, unexpected costs, etc), throughout the year. Please keep in mind that this amount does not include travel arrangements to tournaments or World Series events such as hotel stays and meals.
An important component of the player dues is the contribution to Dunwoody Senior Baseball. Each team makes a contribution of $3,000 per year to help off-set the operational costs of running the program. DSB is a non-profit organization, so 100% of the fees paid to DSB are used to improve the park and program for all players, regardless of level of play.
